RULES:

1. Thank and link the blogger who nominated you.

2. Answer 10 questions that the nominator has given you.

3. Nominate 10 other bloggers and create 10 questions for nominees and notify them of their nomination.

First and most importantly thank you to My Some What Beauty Blog for nominating me!

1. What is your favourite post you have made?

I think my favourite post is a random one from when I got my new camera so I did a little pet photo shoot.

2. Who is your favorite beauty guru?

Definitely Miss Budget Beauty! I love Khila’s blog and YouTube channel. She’s an English YouTube so I love the fact she’s talking about things I can get and on a budget!

3. What kind of pets do you have?

I have 2 cats and 1 dog. Who you can see in the linked post above. But my poor little dog isn’t very well so she’s getting extra cuddles and treats.

4. What’s one thing you want your followers/readers to know about you?

I’m crazy!! But the good kind of crazy. My boyfriend calls me his crazy lady haha. I’m the funny kind of crazy not the psycho killer crazy haha

5. What is the thing you are most proud of in your life?

The day I qualified as a hairdresser! I worked in a salon for 2 years and the manager was a horrible woman! She used to tell me that I would never qualify and I would never be a hairdresser. So the day I qualified I was so happy to prove her wrong and prove to myself that I could do it. Unfortunately not long after due to health reasons I had to give it up which made me sad but I love that I can still say that I did it!

6. What advice do you wish you knew/listened to when you were younger?

Don’t care what other people think about you! If I’d have listened when I was younger I don’t think I would have been so unhappy and I wouldn’t have been such an angry teenager at home!

7. If you could have a coffee date with anyone in the world, who would you choose it to be with?

If were talking famous I would say Alyssa Milano. I’ve been obsessed with Charmed for so long it would be amazing haha.

8. Favourite thing in the room you are currently in?

My Yankee Candle in mango peach salsa. It’s such a gorgeous fruity smell and I’m obsessed with candles in general

9. Top 5 songs of all time?

This is a very strange list haha be prepared

Bob Marley – Three Little Birds.

Bob Marley – No Woman No Cry

Mis-teeq – Nitro

Bob Marley – Redemption Song

Evanescence – My Immortal

10. What superpower would you want?

Being obsessed with Charmed I’ve thought about this many times lol. I think I would have to say going with healing I hate seeing people in pain plus I would use it now to make my dog better!

I nominate anyone who wants to answer the question or do this tag!

My questions for anyone who wants to answer them are below.

1. Whats the one thing you couldn’t live without?

2. Who is your main inspiration in life?

Elf Cream Blush – Heartbreaker

Yes it’s another Elf product. I did get rather alot from the Elf website in the sale!

I got the cream blush in the shade Heartbreaker. I usually apply this with my fingers to my cheeks then use a brush to blend it out. The pigmentation on this is amazing! It lasts most of the day just fading a little by the end of the day.

heartbreaker cream blush (2)It applies so easily to the skin and can be blending out to a nice subtle flush of colour. It can be quite a strong colour if that’s what you prefer. The pigmentation on this is amazing! I’ve been really enjoying using this and loving the colour and how the colour can be blended to a lighter colour. It has a strange texture to it and it almost feels like it’s going to bunch up under your fingers. I would say it feels more like a mousse texture than a cream. But it really is a lovely product!

I’ve been trying to keep my posts a little shorter (I have a habit of rambling). I hope you guys like this!

Elf Eyeshadow – Passionate Purple

My love for purple never stops! So in my little Elf haul you may have seen this eyeshadow in the shade Passionate purple. I love anything purple so this was a must have. The colour on it’s own is not as bright and vibrant as it looks in the pot. But as I mentioned in my smudge pot review I’ve been loving using it as a base to make other shadows more vibrant. This shadow is no exception. Layering this on top of my the smudge pot give it the most gorgeous metallic shine. In the pictures below the top swatch is of the shadow over the smudge pot and the bottom is the shadow on it’s own.

On it’s own it can be a little patchy and the pigmentation doesn’t seem that great but layer this over the smudge pot and it is gorgeous! It stays put all day and gets so many compliments. This would also work as a bright eyeliner for just a pop of colour. The shadow does feel very smooth and applies easily to the eye. At first I didn’t love this shadow because as I said the colour on it’s own isn’t amazing. But layering this on top of a bright base makes a gorgeous colour.

Wild About Beauty Eyeshadow – Jody

I seem to have a new obsession with Wild about Beauty eyeshadows. I’ve got a few of them in my latest in beauty boxes and everytime I get one I’m so happy!

Last time I got one in a box I got the shade Jody. It’s a dark grey colour. It can be built up to be a much darker shade. For people like me who aren’t that great with dark colours is brilliant because it means you can take your time to build it up to the colour you want with no fear of going to dark straight away. The pigmentation on these shadows are brilliant. The shadows feel so smooth to touch. They apply so easily and beautifully. This isn’t my usual sort of colour but I really do love it. I definitely need to get the rest of these shadows all the colours look so gorgeous. They stay put all day even after a long day at work or night out (not that I do either of those right now haha). But the staying power really is amazing and well worth the money. These cost £13 each. But I would recommend checking places like TK Maxx as I did see LOADS of wild about beauty stuff in there for about half the price. Which as you may have guess I’m a sucker for a saving!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer

First of all I’m sorry about the big finger print in the concealer haha! I couldn’t wait to use it and I forgot to take the picture to take the before hand.rimmel concealer (2)

DSCF2174 DSCF2175

I got this in the shade porcelain. I love this is concealer it is quite a high coverage. Which is brilliant for the big spot I have on my chin right now! Best of all it is actually pale enough! The only thing I find with this concealer is when I use it under my eyes then use a setting powder over the top it actually seems to crease more and settle into any lines. I apply this with a brush and work it into the skin, then I use my finger to ensure it’s all blending in properly. It stays put all day and doesn’t budge. The name certainly isn’t lying when they say lasting finish. It doesn’t feel drying at all. It covers blemishes brilliantly without clinging to any dry spots. Which is a big thing for me as I do have quite dry skin at the moment. It covers my dark circles and actually brightens my under eye at the same time. For £5.49 this is a real bargain! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for this sort of concealer especially a really pale concealer.

Eye of Horus Eyeliner – Goddess Smokey

I know some people moan about getting eye-liners in beauty boxes but for me eye-liner is a must! If I leave the house with no eye-liner on no matter how long I’ve been awake people always assume that I’ve just woke up. So when I saw this coming in one of my LIB boxes I was pretty happy. It did say shades my vary but I got the bog standard black colour! PERFECT!

IMG_0420DSCF2219

It is a perfect intense black colour. It comes with a smudger on one side and the eye-liner on the other. This works brilliantly on the waterline and tight line but it also sits perfectly on the upper lash line and it smudges out brilliantly. I love using this on simple make up days I just apply a neutral matte colour and a little bit of this on my waterline and a little on my upper lash line and smudge it out and apply a bit of mascara and it gives such a nice look. You can smudge this out and make it look almost grey so it’s less intense or just do a very gentle smudge to keep it looking black and intense. The pigmentation is incredible it is one the blackest black eye-liner I’ve ever tried and trust me I’ve tried a few! I love how this can help you achieve such a flawless smokey look so easily! It last for hours even in the waterline. It stays put throughout my entire day! Not to be depressing but I wore this to a funeral a few weeks ago and at the end of the long day I got home looked in the mirror to take my make up off and it was still in my waterline! Anything that can withstand that much crying is good in my books! All in all I’m so impressed with this and I recommend it if you’ve got a spare £14.48 to spend on an eyeliner or just look out for it in a subscription box.

ELF Glitter Eyeshadow – Beachy Chic

If you guys read my elf haul you will have seen this Elf glitter eyeshadow in beachy chic. As I said in my Smudge pot review blue really isn’t my usual colour. When I saw this on the elf website sale I couldn’t resist the colour is truly gorgeous and I’m a glitter kind of girl.
Glitter Shadow

The pigmentation on this shadow is good and the colour is gorgeous although the glitter does fall out of the colour and causes a lot of fall out. The texture of the eyeshadow is very smooth and very soft but not so soft it all falls apart when you touch it.

Glitter Shadow 2
Beachy Chic

The way I prefer to wear this is over my elf smudge pot to just give it a more intense look and shine it makes it look almost metallic look. This would make and amazing stand out eyeshadow or even an eyeliner. The colour is beautiful and it is super summery. The price of this is super cheap and the quality is well worth the money.
